Since this is my new blog I thought it’d be a good idea for me to start of by purging my soul with this confessions tag.
Which book, most recently, did you not finish?
The last time I DNF-ed a book was over a year ago now and that was The Girl Who Wasn’t Dead by Samantha Boyette. I rarely DNF because most the time it’s a book I bought myself and book definitely aren’t cheap. I also like to see how much worse it can possibly get so I can successfully rant about it.
Which book is your guilty pleasure?
Definitely The Ghost Files by Apryl Baker. This series follows a girl who can see ghosts and I admit it’s super cheesy and cringey at times but there’s something about it that’s so addictive and keeps me reading.
Which book would you throw into the sea?
Paper Towns by John Green. I don’t get the point of this book. This was one of the first books where I was reading and was not having a good time. There are plenty of others I would throw into the sea but this one more so because of how hyped it is and I really don’t understand.
Which book have you read the most?
Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone I think. I’ve read it a few times in different editions, including the illustrated edition. I’ve also read City of Bones at least three times, and both Philosphers Stone and City of Bones I read in Spanish too.
Which book would you hate to receive as a present?
I mean I’m not gonna say no to a free book but I think I’d hate it if it was a book I had absolutely no intention whatsoever in reading. My TBR is big enough and I’d feel bad.
Which book could you not live without?
I feel like the All For The Game series. I fell in love with that trilogy and that lead me to Tumblr which has gotten me talking with a whole bunch of people all over the world which I love.
Which book made you cry the most?
Definitely Clockwork Princess. I knew it was coming but still couldn’t stop the tears even as my slightly drunk parents came in my room to see if I was okay. The didn’t realise I was crying at first because I was sat practically in the dark but as soon as they realised what was going on they left me to my crying, judging me as they went.
Which book cover do you hate the most?
A recent book I read was White Hot Kiss by Jennifer L. Armentrout and I tried to hide that cover as much as possible.
Or the old cover of The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I have the new pretty covers for the final three books and the old version of the first book just does not match and I hate it.
