Most Anticipated 2019 Releases // Top 5 Wednesday

0b52cfa20534e151d7c781034eb22588 (1)I can’t believe it’s this time already. 2019 is right around the corner and I’m stressing because time is flying by! The good thing about time going by so fast though is all the books coming out next year that I cannot wait for!

All weekly topics can be found HERE.

Also there are more then 5 on this list because like I said there are just SO many I couldn’t narrow it down.

1- A Girl Called Shameless by Laura Steven.

This is the sequel to The Exact Opposite of Okay, a book I have not shut up about at all. I am so excited about this release especially because its a perfect excuse to reread the first book too. Also look at that cover!

Expected Release Date: March 2019 (no specific date)

2- Again But Better by Christine Riccio.

41147279I knew Christine was writing a book due to her Writing vlogs but I didn’t know she’d WRITTEN a book! Look at how aesthetically pleasing this cover is. Christine’s video about the twilight book is what got me into Booktube and I am so proud of her!

Expected Release Date: 7th May

3-Ghosts of the Shadow Market by Cassandra Clare & others

GSM_cover_01I mean I have read over half of the stories in this collection already but I need a physical copy to put on my ever growing Shadowhunter shelf. Cassandra is just pushing out these books and I’m happily handing over all my money. She owns my ass and she knows it.

Expected Release Date: June 4th

4-Two Can Keep a Secrete by Karen M. McManus

40099425Every time I read this title I can’t help but sing the Pretty Little Liars song “two can keep a secrete if one of them is dead”. Is anyone else having this problem?  I loved One of Us Is Lying and I’m hoping this is just as good. I’m also hoping this has the coloured edges like the other book.

Expected Release Date: January 10th 2019

5- Once & Future by Amy Rose Capetta + Cori McCarthy

36233085This is a King Arthur and Merlin inspired story and I am so ready. I have my own book about Arthur and Merlin in my head, ready to be written I just need to get my arse in gear and I’m hoping reading this book will inspire me to do that.

Expected Release Date: 5th March.

6- Hearstopper: Volume 1 by Alice Oseman

42189109This is one of the cutest things I have ever read in my life but with exams and life in general I haven’t been keeping up with the online version. I need a physical copy of this and I can’t wait!

Expected Release Date: February 7th

7- The Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare and Wesley Chu

30295312Again with me being a slave to Cassandra Clare’s new releases. A whole book about Magnus and Alec? You bet I’m going to read this. I don’t know what exactly this is about, I think it’s them when they go on holiday during the Mortal Instruments but I’m not sure. Either way I need this.

Expected Release Date: April 2nd

Wow. I am going to be broke as fuck next year with all these new releases but I seriously can’t wait to read them all. Thanks for reading 🙂

  1. Hey, great list. I didn’t know some of the books you have in your list, but all of them seem really interesting, specially Two Can Keep a Secret, because I liked One of us is Lying (I didn’t love it, but it was a fun read).
