Hello 🙂 Happy Wednesday!
Todays topic is Most Disappointing Reads of 2018, however, I already did this before the end of the year so I’m changing it up a bit.
Basically I’m going to be talking about five books that were released in 2018 that I’m sad I didn’t read or buy or anything.
1- All Out: The No-Longer-Secret Stories of Queer Teens throughout the Ages
Throughout the year I saw this around a lot and I added it to my Wishlist but it was never my first choice when I came to ordering books. Now though I wish I had picked it up because the cover is amazing and it seems like it’d be interesting.
2- Not Even Bones by Rebecca Schaeffer
This sounds so gruesome and cool. Something about murdering supernatural beings and selling their body parts on the internet? Probably not for the faint of hearted but hopefully I can pick this up this October for spooky season!
3- Fake Blood by Whitney Gardner
I want this book SOO bad!! And unlike the others I actually tried to order this but it was out of stock! Why must the world hate me! I’m not entirely sure what this is about, either a real vampire or some kid who pretends to be a vampire to impress someone being hunted by vampire hunters. But I’m very sad I didn’t get this in 2018.
4- Running With Lions by Julian Winters
I saw this on Netgalley and I was like I WANT THAT, but I have a terrible feedback thing (I’m trying to improve it!) so I didn’t get approved and then I forgot about it because I’m terrible. I feel like the innter Foxhole Court fan of me is gonna enjoy this.
5- Heretics Anonymous by Katie Henry
This was big on YouTube and it seems pretty cool. Also who doesn’t love a book cover with toast on it!
So I totally changed the topic for this because I am terrible but I mean at least I included the word Dissapoint in the title.
Happy Wednesday to All!
