Hello 🙂
I’m not gonna lie, this may be going up a little later in the month but I totally bought these just a couple days after Christmas, even though I got a bunch of books then, and they arrived on the 2nd. I have a problem.
So I have 5 books I’ve been wanting for a long time and can’t wait to read.
Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Clare- I’ve already read this book. It arrived the same day I finished rereading Lord of Shadows and I started it straight away. I absolutely flew through it a lot faster then I thought. I did a whole post about the Dark Artifices in general and I’ve got a whole lot of notes on my phone about this book too.
King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table- Ok in 2019 I want to write more. I have so many stories in my brain and one of them centres around the legends of Arthur which is a problem since I don’t actually know much about the legends besides what I’ve watched from Merlin the show. This year though I wanna read this and really start being productive and write something.
A Gathering of Shadows by V.E Schwab- I read book 1 last year and had a great time and I’m excited to carry on and see where this series takes me.
Wildthorn by Jane England- I can’t remember too much about this book but it’s set in the Victorian era and I believe its about a girl sent to like an asylum or something and it’s working out what led to her being there. Like I said I’m not sure but I’ve had my eye on it for a while.
Jackaby by William Ritter- This series has such beautiful covers. I love them. This is another historical fiction, this one set in 1892 and is about R. F. Jackaby, an investigator of the unexplained with a keen eye for the extraordinary. I’ve wanted this for ages and I am so happy. I really hope this doesn’t disappoint.
I really am a stupid human. I try to get my physical tbr down but then I go and order 5 new books. Damn you books for being so appealing and having beautiful covers!
