Hello and happy Wednesday … except it’s not all that happy because I’ve got so much History and Latin studying to get through I think my head is going to explode.
Anyways I’m taking a break and drinking some tea and talking about the books on the top of my TBR.
All weekly topics can be found HERE!
1- Watch us Rise by Renee Watson and Ellen Hagan
So this is me taking further steps to actually read the books I request from Netgalley and this is being published some time in February so once I’ve finished my current ARC I’ll hopefully start this.
2- Crooked Kingdoms by Leigh Bardugo
This may be at the top but am I gonna get to it anytime soon? Probably not. I’m scared to see what happens. I’m also worried I don’t remember much from book 1. I do hope I get over myself and read it soon though.
3- The Bronze Key by Cassandra Clare & Holly Black
So this might be cheating because I’m kind of currently reading this but would it be a top 5 Wednesday if I don’t cheat. I always cheat. Also I’m less then 50 pages in so it’s still a to be read really. This is book three of five and I’m thinking I can finish the whole series soon enough.
4- History is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera
I’m considering this being my next read? Possibly? Maybe? I’m pretty sure this might get a few tears out of me though so do I want to add that pain to my pain of exams? It might have to wait till I get a week off.
5- Marriage of Unconvenience by Chelsea M. Cameron.
This is pretty short and it interests me quite a bit, hence it being up at the top. It follows a girl who needs her inheritance money but can only get it if she’s married and so she and her best friend Cara get “married”. This sounds so tropey and cute! Hopefully it’ll take the stress out of exams in the coming weeks.
So there we go. The top of my TBR. I’m terrible at actually reading what’s at the top of my TBR though because I change my mind all the time.
