I know everyone says this, every single month but seriously, how is it February!
I had a great reading month in January and I’m hoping I can continue that on this month, even with my trip to England at the end of the month.
I actually have a TBR for February, something that never happens because I never stick to them but I’m being organised for the first time in my life and I have a list of four books I want to read:
This month I want to reread Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. I read it for the first time last year and really enjoyed it but I was an idiot and haven’t picked up the sequel yet. There are a lot of people reading this this month in book clubs so I figured why not reread it too and refresh my mind for the sequel.
The Quiet You Carry by Nikki Barthelmess is an upcoming March release I received from Netgalley and am hoping to pick it up ready for it’s release. I really cannot remember anything about this but I’m looking forward to it.
Another Arc which I thought was coming out in March but is actually coming out in April is You’d be Mine by Erin Hahn. I feel like out of all the books on this tbr this is going to be the fluffiest and so if I need a break from the emotional I might turn to this.
And the final book I want to pick up this month is The Diviners by Libba Bray. I have wanted to read this for so long I’m not kidding. I currently have this in e-book format and so my plan is to take my kindle with me to England and then when I’m trapped in a metal tube for three hours there and back I’ll have no other choice but to finally pick this up! I’m really hoping this plan of mine works cause like I said I’m dying to read this!
Also this month I’m going to pick up The Raven Boys again, this time in Spanish. I need a book for class so of course if I can re-read this and boost my grade I’m going to do it. There’s a Dreamers Trilogy hole in my heart that needs filling and it doesn’t look like it’s coming out soon so after re-reading this first book I might find myself re-reading the rest of the series too in future months.
Honorable mention: I’m not gonna get to this book in February but I do want to buy it in February. And that is Two Can Keep a Secrete by Katherine M. Mcmanus
Last year I went to England around the same time as I’m going in a couple of weeks and on my trip I bought One of Us Is Lying and loved it!
Buy books in a shop is rare for me and I have so much fun every time I do because I’m a nerd so I plan on dragging my dad into Waterstones so I can kind of keep this tradition of buying these books in England.
I’m really hoping this book is as good as I want it to be.
So yeah, there’s my first every monthly TBR on this blog. I’m hoping I get to these but I feel like now that I’ve commited them into words I’m not going to get to any … I don’t know, I guess I’ll just have to wait and see how the month goes.
I recommend starting this month with rereading Six Of Crows, the sequel is epic, it’s as phenomenal as the first book .
