I Got Stuck In England Book Haul :)

Hello and Happy Friday 🙂

So, this time last week I was freezing my arse off in my home country of England. I was meant to be there for four days but after a two hour drive to the airport it turned out my flight had been cancelled!

Although stressful, and cold I did end up having a good time and most importantly I got books! I always get a Christmas in the middle of February/March because that’s when my dad sends my gift and this year I got a few books out of it!

Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo – Finally!!!! I saw this on the shelf and I knew if I didn’t get it then, I never would and with the TV show in the works and everybody’s love for this world I needed to read it. I know there are mixed thoughts on the original trilogy but I’m looking forward to seeing what I think, and also being able to read King of Scars.

A Girl Called Shameless by Laura Steven – I have been waiting for this book for a year! This wasn’t even meant to be released and so when I saw it on the shelf I squealed so loud, totally freaked my dad out, I see him once a year so I’m sure that was a great impression. I plan on reading this ASAP!

Two Can Keep A Secret by Karen M. McManus – Last year on my trip I bought One of Us Is Lying which I loved. I thought buying McManus second book was quite a cool tradition. Hopefully there’ll be a new book of hers for me to get next year.

Heartstopper Volume 1 by Alice Oseman – Buying this was my nerd fantasy! 1) because this comic is adorable and I haven’t been able to keep up with it online and 2) because the cashier started talking to me about it and it was brief but nobody ever talks about books with me so I loved it!

A Very Large Expanse of Sea by Tahereh Mafi – This was a random pick up. I’ve of course seen it about and I’ve been interested in it. It’s pretty short, I’m thinking this’ll be a good read during summer.

I am so incredibly excited about all of these books. My shelves are in need of a rearrange with all the new and unread books I’ve got laying around the place.
