Wrap Ups

March Wrap Up

Hello and welcome to my blog.

I’ve really been loving doing wrap up’s so far this year because I’m always surprised at how much I actually got read during the month and I’m loving it!

This month I, again, did pretty well with a total of six and a half books read! And out of those six, four of them are off my physical TBR which is so much better then last month where I only read one physical book.

(How is my physical TBR going to shrink if I don’t read off of it and keep buying more books?!)

The Diviners by Libba Bray- A book that has been on many a TBR has finally been read! I read the E-book of this during my trip to England at the start of the month. I literally finished it two seconds before I had to put my Kindle away for landing. I ended up really enjoying this although it didn’t meet all my expectations. However I am really interested in continuing on!

Crooked Kingdoms by Leigh Bardugo- Another I am so proud to have read! This book was great, lots of twists and turns but most importantly I was just happy to have new content with lots of banter from my favourite characters. I’m now planning on starting the Grisha trilogy very soon.

Jackaby by William Ritter- It’s with a heavy heart I say I didn’t enjoy this book. The cover is beautiful and the premise was intriguing leaving me very excited to read but I came away thinking the book fell a little flat for me. There was nothing specifically bad but also nothing that kept me hooked so I’m not sure if I’ll be continuing on with this series.

The Exact Opposite of Okay by Laura Steven- This was a reread for me in preparation for the sequel and I of course, absolutely loved every second! I just love the witty and clever writing style of Laura Steven!

Red White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston- I was so happy when I was accepted for an ARC and I was even happier once I’d read the book. It’s amazing! From the representation to the plot to the characters to the romance. I flew threw it and then just had to write my review straight away! Highly Recommend!

A Girl Called Shameless by Laura Steven- I have been waiting for this sequel all year and I’m so happy I’ve read it. This series is filled with hilarious banter and writing while also tacking real issues such as: poverty, slut shaming, revenge porn. It’s an overall great reading experience I love. Unforuntanly I didn’t love it as much as the first book but I still had a great time reading.

So those are the books I completed this month but I’m also including my current read which is:

The Goblet of Fire!
9781408855683

I said I’d be concentrating on school this week and next week too but in the past three days I’ve read over 300 pages of this book. I’m halfway done. That doesn’t sound like concentrating on my exams to me. Either way I’m really enjoying my reread even though my grades are going to hell 🙂

Thanks for reading.
