Bookish Wishlist to help me survive.

Hello and happy Tuesday!

Yesterday I started back at school for the third term of my last year as a high school student … and I immediately started freaking out.

With only 9 weeks left at school and 9 weeks to make sure I get the grades to graduate, anxiety and self doubt have taken a hold of my brain.

And so I figured bribing myself into staying motivated and not having a breakdown would be a good idea and so I’ve made a wishlist of a few books I’m hoping to buy myself at the end of June, hopefully as a graduation present to myself!

1- The Devouring Grey by Christine Lynn Herman

2- The Red Scrolls of Magic by Cassandra Clare & Wesley Chu

30295312I was hoping to get my hands on this sooner. So many people on Goodreads are already reading this and I’m dying to have my own copy! I even started reading the Bane Chronicles again to make me feel better.

3- Ghosts of the Shadow Market

GSM_cover_01Keeping with Shadowhunters, I really want to add this to my collection. It’s not out yet but by the time I finish my exams it will be and what better gift then a bunch of Jem Carstairs stories.

4- Carry On by Rainbow Rowell

So I finished Fangirl recently and although I didn’t love it as much as everyone else seems to, I still seriously want to read Carry On, especially before the sequel.

5- Like a Love Story by Abdi Nazemian

I’ve been so excited for this release for so long now! I’m a bit hazy on the overall plot but it’s set during the AIDS crisis and I feel like it’s going to be super emotional but also really impactful and I am dying to read.

The books I end up buying might vary from this list because it’s still 3 months away but I’m hoping the promise of 5 amazing books will get my arse in gear and graduate on time!

Thanks for reading.
