Hello and happy Monday!
This past weekend I went and watched Avengers Endgame, not once, but twice, and I don’t know whether my life is now complete or if there’s now a permanent hole in my soul. Maybe both?
Anyways I’m taking inspiration from Kristin from Kristin Kraves Books and I’m doing the Avengers Book Tag to celebrate the end of an era.
IRON MAN: A BOOK THAT MADE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD
The whole Magnus Chase series had me laughing so much and you know what, Magnus himself is such a nerd so I’m sure he’s happy to be paired with the legend that is Tony Stark.
CAPTAIN AMERICA: A BOOK THAT SENDS A POSITIVE MESSAGE.
I had mixed feelings towards this books but this book has really great biromantic-asexual representation and represents it in a great positive way and I thought it did a great job with that.
THOR: A BOOK WITH A CHARACTER’S STRENGTH YOU ADMIRE
I’m only four books in to the Throne of Glass series and Celaena’s already gone through so much. Thinking about what else the other books might bring stresses me out! I love her
BLACK WIDOW: A BOOK WITH A KICK-ASS FEMALE PROTAGONIST
Starr is a badass in a different way to the typical YA protagonists and that’s why I love her so much. She has no special powers or special training but she still deserves the title “a total badass”.
HULK: A BOOK THAT MADE YOU INCREDIBLY ANGRY
I wrote a whole rant review on my feelings for The Summer I Turned Pretty and I still get irrationally angry even a year later.
HAWKEYE: AN UNDERRATED BOOK YOU THINK MORE PEOPLE SHOULD PAY ATTENTION TO
Starflight by Melissa Landers is actually one of the only science fiction novels I’ve ever actually liked. I feel like there was a decent amount of talk when it came out but I’ve never really seen much about it other then that.
*BONUS* LOKI: A BOOK WITH A TWIST OR SURPRISE THAT TRICKED YOU.
I seriously need to get out there and read more mystery thrillers cause all I can think for this is One of Us Is Lying but I feel like it wasnt the solving out the murder thing that shocked me it was like a tiny thing revealed about one of the characters (the baseball player who’s name I’ve forgotten) that I didn’t see coming.
Has anyone else watched Endgame yet? Do you think we’ll get a discount if we all band together for one big group therapy?
