Hello and welcome back to my blog 🙂
Today I’m doing the Sims Book tag!
I am absolute trash for the Sims. I love living vicariously through them and basically being their GOD(dess).
Reading and playing Sims are my favourite forms of procrastination and are responsible for the permanent bags under my eyes because I have no control and stay up too late every time. So I figured hey, why don’t I combine the two and do the book tag 🙂
The Original Sims
✨The Best Author Debut✨
Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuiston. I did not know this was a debut! Like that is totally crazy to me because it’s just so good.
The Grim Reaper
✨Saddest Character Death✨
Wow there’s so many but I’m still so hung up on Livvy Blackthorn. I’ve never sobbed so much in my life.
Sims Getting Stuck
✨A character that just got in the way✨
Unpopular opinion but: Elena Gilbert from The Vampire Diaries. I haven’t watched the show in years but she’s the only character I can think of.
Simlish
✨A book with amazing writing✨
Aristotle and Dante by Benjamin Alire Saenz. This book is a work of art.
Expansion Packs
✨A series where the books keep on getting better✨
Say what you will about Throne of Glass, but of the four I’ve read, each was better then the last. And it’s crazy to see how the story has developed from book one.
Sim Romance
✨The worst case of Insta-love✨
A recent read and I’m feeling salty so I’m going with Again, But Better by Christine Riccio. What annoys me about this is that the main character Shane is so besotted by Pilot so quickly and then for such a long time after.
Cheats
✨A book that was entirely unrealistic✨
Erm literally every YA book ever? I’m going with The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. I love this series but still, teenagers being used by the FBI to track down serial killers is pushing it a bit but the direction the series goes in the final novel is crazy! (I still love it though)
Needs Fulfilment
✨A character that made all the wrong decisions✨
Again literally ever YA protagonist ever? I feel like I’ve got to go with someone from The Mortal Instruments series. Clary? Jace? Maybe even Alec at times. There bad decisions gave us so much angst and drama.
Error Code 12
✨A series that started off great but went down hill✨
Croak by Gina Damico. I’m still so sad about this. It had a great concept revolving around a town of Grim reapers and I loved the first book so much but it just went down hill from there.
The Sims Vortex
✨A Book/Series that completely engrossed you✨
All For the Game by Nora Sakavic. I’ve read it twice already. I read the third book The Kings Men which is something like 500 pages in one day. I’m slightly obsessed.
I had a lot of fun doing this tag. Thanks for reading.
Ah I just love The Sims! I’m so intrigued by The Foxhole Court.

I hope you enjoy The Foxhole Court if you get the chance to read it! I’m pretty sure it’s for free/super cheap on kindle 🙂

I love the Sims… And i love Ari and Dante, i also think is a work of art, (but i think that of every book made by Benjamin Alire Saenz). I want to read the foxhole court and Red, White and Royal Blue.
Good tag.

my favorite book from him right now is Last Night I Sang to the Monster. Is about an alcoholic teen and it’s written perfectly. 🙂
