Hello and happy Monday!
I have had an amazing weekend full of reading and it feels so good. However there are still a whole bunch of upcoming releases this year that I’m excited for and want to talk about.
I feel like this is my millionth post about 2019 releases but as the year progresses I keep finding out about more and I need them all in my life!
1- Truly Madly Royally by Debbie Rigaud.
This is a recent find of mine and it sounds right up my alley. Ordinary people falling in love with royalty? This is becoming a common theme at the minute and I am living for it!!! Publication Date: July 30th
2- Tunnel of Bones by Victoria Schwab
I really enjoyed City of Ghosts and I’m looking forward to the sequel! I really love the dynamics of this series: ghost hunter parents with a daughter who sees ghost and whose best friend is a ghost. I also love where these are set, the first in Edinburgh and this in Paris. I’m hoping to read this over Halloween again. Publication Date: September 3rd
3- Only Ashes Remain by Rebecca Schaeffer
I read book 1 Not Even Bones recently and absolutely LOVED it! It’s so unique and not like anything I’ve ever read. I didn’t even realise this was going to be a trilogy but I am genuinely so excited to be back in this world with these characters. Nita is amazing. Publication Date: September 23rd
4- Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo
I barely remember what this is about at this point but I’m still highly anticipating this. I heard something about Yale’s secrete society and really that’s all I need to know. Also I love this cover. Publication Date: October 1st 2019
5- Tarnished Are the Stars by Rosiee Thor
I don’t know what this is about exactly. I believe it’s Sci-fi which admittedly is not my favourite genre (like at all) but I’ve heard this has Asexual rep and I want all of that in my life so here we are 🙂 Publication Date: October 15th
6- Beyond the Black Door by A.M. Strickland
More Asexual representation!!! What more can I say? I’m planning on buying all the books with Ace rep and having a whole shelf dedicated to it. Publication Date: October 29th 2019
7- Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Steifvater
Aghhhhh!!!!! I am so excited for this book!!!! The first few chapters were released recently and its pure gold. I genuinely don’t think I’m going to make it out of this book alive. Publication Date: November 5th
8- The Guinevere Deception by Kiersten White
Its 2019 and I still watch Merlin compilation videos at 2am. Of course I am incredibly excited about new content relating to King Arthur, especially if this is more centred around Guinevere. Again, this book has such a beautiful cover. Publication Date: November 5th.
I am so excited for all of these books. My savings, however, are not so happy about these new releases. Thank you for reading 🙂
