K-L-M-N-O // Top 5 Wednesday

aaaa

Hello and Happy Tuesday!

So far this month we’ve done our A-B-C-D-E’s and last week we did F-G-H-I-J and today we’re moving on to the next five K-L-M-N-O 🙂

Top 5 Wednesday is hosted by Shanah @ Bionic Book Worm.

Killer Instinct by Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Killer Instinct is book number 2 in The Naturals series by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. This series was one of the first series I read that really got me into young adult and especially young adult thrillers. This series follows teenage criminal profilers who work alongside the FBI on cold cases but soon get caught up in a whole lot more.

This series stretches the imagination slightly but it’s so entertaining, each book gets better. I’m currently reading a relatively new Jennifer Lynn Barnes book, Little White Lies, and I’m really enjoying it too.

Like a Love Story by Abdi Nazemian

I am dying to read this book! It’s my birthday at the beginning of August and so I’ll definitely be getting my hands on this soon. The cover is absolutely gorgeous and I feel like the insides are going to be just as good if not gut wrenching. Its set during the AIDs crisis in New York city.

I’m ready to have my heart ripped from my chest!

Me, Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews

Part of me thinks I should re-read this the other part of me thinks Nope. I read this years ago. I’m pretty sure I read it when I was around 12-13 and as much as I enjoyed it then I really don’t think I would now.

Night Owls by Jenn Bennett

I’ve kind of talked a lot about this book recently but here I am again anyways because I loved it so much. This is my second Jenn Bennett novel even though I’ve had it sat on my shelf for years! I loved the characters and how different styles of art is such a big part of the story. I also love the characters, I ship them together so much but also low key have a crush on them both.

Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout

The Lux series looks and sounds so cheesy but I kind of want to read it. These books feel almost like YA classics and I want to try it out.

  1. Nice list, Elli. Jennifer L. Armentrout keeps popping up on my book radar, I really should check out one of her books. Can’t wait to see what you share with us next week.
