What I’m going to do after surviving my exams // December TBR

Hi, hey, hello and welcome to my blog 🙂

Exams have started. Woohoo!!! They started this past Friday and lead all the way up until the 16th. The only thing getting me through is a litre bottle of Pepsi, my fear of failure and the promise of 2 weeks off.

And so because of this I am sat here, eating muesli while my cat screams at me and getting some blog posts written and scheduled.

Today I’m going to be talking about what exactly I plan to do once I am free!

Finish my currently reading:

I’ve been reading Tweet Cute for nearly a month now and I’m mad because this is really, really good. I’m having a great time but that’s the problem. I don’t have any time.

Call Down the Hawk is finally in my hands. It’s amazing, if not a little confusing at the beginning because of the new characters. I plan on getting straight to this when I get done with my last exam.

Sleep & play The Sims

I cannot wait until I can stay up till 3am making my sims life a misery and having more Sim babies then I can handle and then staying in my comfy, warm bed all morning the next day.

Read:

Will I be able to read three books in two weeks, as well as finishing my current reads? Probably not but a girl can dream.

Only Ashes Remain and Like a Love Story are two 2019 releases I’ve been dying to get to and I really want to read them before the New Year.

Sadie is a book I’ve been interested in for a while and I had the urge to pick it up a couple of days ago so if I’m still feeling it in a weeks time this is what I’ll hopefully also be reading.

Get in the Christmas Spirit.

I’m talking Christmas movie marathons and Mariah Carey full blast (even though that song gets extremely annoying real quick)

I actually have a Christmas movie list I want to make my way through while eating my weight in the chocolates mum reserves and keeps under lock and key until a week before Christmas:

  • Noelle –  I’ve already watched this but it was so much fun that I’m lowkey considering watching it again.
  • The Christmas Prince Trilogy – I am a sucker for cheesy movies about modern royals and this is three whole movies dedicated to this trope with the added bonus of Christmas.
  • Let It Snow
  • The Greatest Showman- This technically isn’t a Christmas movie but it feels like it. This is my dads favourite movie and so I think we’re going to be watching this on Christmas Eve before meeting mum from work and going for drinks.

So there we go, those are my plans that will be kicking into effect at three o’clock on the 16th the minute that school bell rings and I am FREE! I’ve forgotten how stressful and annoying it is but I’m staying positive and rewarding myself with food every ten minutes.

  1. Good luck with you exams! 😀 I really want to play the Sims as well, but I’m too busy with university to do that. Hopefully I’ll have time during Christmas break to play it.
