🎄The Jingle Bell Book Tag🎄

Hi, hey, hello and welcome to my blog 🙂

It’s time for another Chisrtmas Book Tag!!!! Today I’m doing The Jingle Bell Book Tag and I am so excited. I’m looking forward to this tag … and also the break from studying. I’m dying people.

Anyways this tag looks really fun so let’s just jump into it 🙂

“All I Want for Christmas is you…” // What book do you want to see under the Christmas Tree?

This question came up in last weeks tag and I said the new illustrated Harry Potter but obviously I would like more then just one book and so this week I’m saying some books dealing with travel.

I made a list for my mum to choose from but I can’t remember specific titles right now. I’m going on a school trip to Italy next year and I’d love to read some YA novels about travelling around Europe beforehand.

“Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time” // What book that you have read this year have you enjoyed the most?

This is a recent read of mine which I haven’t had the chance to speak about yet and that is Tweet Cute by Emma Lord. I loved this book with my whole heart. It was funny and cute and I could not put it down!

I do have a review written for this book but its scheduled to go up closer to this books release in January of 2020.

Elf – What book unleashes your inner child?

Not relevant to my answer but Elf is such a good movie and I’m thinking I need to rewatch it asap. I swear I have the DVD somewhere.

I’d say Percy Jackson brings out my inner child. They’re just so much fun and easy to read and the humour is so innocent but effective.

Speaking of Percy Jackson!!!! Rick Riordan and Disney have been in talks about making a series and when I aw this trending on Tumblr I freaked!!!

“It’s Beginning to look a lot like Christmas…” // Which books has the most festive look to it?

Total cop out because I can’t think of an actual answer but when I was a kid I had a book about a girl who went flying with Santa one Christmas Eve and it had my name in it as that character. Clearly it was one of those personalised books you can buy online because my brother had the exact same one years later but I loved it and it fits this question cause it had a giant drawing of Santa Claus on the front.

The Grinch // Your favourite villain

Again not relevant to my answer but … did the Grinch creep anyone else out as a kid? I swear I had nightmares about him and that’s followed me into my almost adulthood.

From the top of my head my favourite villain would have to be Void Stiles from season 3 of Teen Wolf. I feel like this is cheating but its late and my brain is fried.

Season 3 of Teen Wolf is amazing, I think I’ve watched the whole season around five times now. I was slightly obsessed  in my youth. It had everything from great plots and characters, humour and so much emotion (I sob everytime at those last few eps) and best of all a great villain!!!

I’m not saying I need to go back and watch Teen Wolf but … maybe I need to go back and watch Teen Wolf.

The Holiday // Name your favourite TWO couples

Only 2!! Impossible. So instead I’m just going to talk about my favourite two at this current moment as I’m writing this. Literally the first that come into my mind which are ….

Pepper and Jack from Tweet Cute, as previously mentioned above I loved this book and these two characters and their relationship throughout the entire book was a big part of why I loved it so much.

And couple number two is ..

Andrew and Neil from All For The Game. I think these two have such a unique but important dynamic both in terms of their actual relationship but also how their relationship progressed throughout the books. I love it. I love them. I’m counting down to my yearly re-read of this trilogy.

What book would you like to give as a present to your followers?

I’d love to give my followers a copy of Not Even Bones by Rebecca Schaeffer. It’s such a good book, one of my favourites of the year, and sorely underrated, I really haven’t seen enough love for this book and that needs to change.

So there we go that was the Jingle Bell Book Tag. I’m not tagging anyone because I wasn’t tagged but if you do this link it down below so I can check it out.

Elli xx
