Hi, hey, hello and welcome to my blog 🙂
Last year there was a Top 5 Wednesday topic about books we’d give to certain people as gifts and I chose teenage girls as I myself am a teenage girl, so ya know it made sense.
Either way I really enjoyed making that list which you can find HERE and I decided to make another list this year 🙂
These Witches Don’t Burn by Isabel Sterling
I feel like I’ve talked about this book a whole lot since reading it this past October but I think this could be a great book to gift someone who loves a good witchy story with mystery and romance elements.
Becoming by Michelle Obama
I actually received this book as a gift and I really enjoyed it. It was well written and I enjoyed reading Michelle’s perspective of the elections and her time as First Lady as well as anecdotes from her childhood. I think this book would be great for those interested in politics, even just slightly.
Night Owls by Jenn Bennett
I’ve become a big fan of Jenn Bennett this past year and Night Owls was probably my favourite. Its short but fun which I think could be perfect for a more casual reader to enjoy.
If My Body Could Speak by Blythe Baird
If My Body Could Speak is actually a poetry book, something I don’t usually read but god this book was powerful. It made me feel so many things. It talks about eating disorders, sexual assault, homophobia so be careful of those trigger warnings but it was such an impactful book and I think a lot of people could get a lot out of this.
The Royals Duology by Rachel Hawkins
The Royals duology may not be the most perfect books in the world but I thought they were so much, easy to read and I really loved the main character Daisy and all of these reasons is why I think this would be a great gift.
So there we go, there’s a couple of books I think would make the perfect present for teenage girls.
Thank you for reading and Merry Christmas!
