3 things about me
My old house was haunted. So apparently my old house in England was haunted. I lived their for 9-ish years until I was 10 so I don’t remember much but mum used to hear footsteps going up and down the stairs, the oven used to turn itself on an off, it was a cold house, my teenage aunts said they saw and old man in the kitchen once when they were babysitting and I apparently woke up and while half asleep told mum their was an old man standing at the end of my bed.
Losing my teeth was traumatising. I’m not even joking. Ways younger me lost my teeth: falling out into a Cadbury caramel egg (I’ve never had one since and never will), one coming loose at a Halloween disco thanks to a sour strip sweet, knocked loose by a friend elbowing me as 6 of us ran at a tiny paddling pool. And then my nan used to try and pull them out with her acrylic nails to the point I would go near her. Not Fun.
I used to play the cello. I wouldn’t be able to play anything now but for like 2 years i played the cello and I was shit, as my parents would agree, but it was really fun. We even did a concert that was played on some obscure BBC radio station. And then I moved to Spain and played a plastic recorder for the next four years.
🌻What’s your favourite dessert?🌻
Cheesecake. The toffee cheesecake they sell at Iceland is amazing. It says it feeds like 10 but that’s a lie. It’s so tiny. Nobody else like it in my house which means I get it all to myself.
🌻Do you like books featuring supernatural creatures? Which one is your favourite?🌻
I love books with supernatural creatures. My favourites would have to be witches, especially when it’s set in modern times or magic schools. Also ghosts and especially books with people who can see ghosts.
🌻Do you have any pets?🌻
I do and I would die for them.
Fudge. The old man. He’s going to be 8 this year. He’s a big teddy bear at heart but a total bed hog.
Kit-Kat. He’s evil but I love him and I feel the need to tell him how cute he is everytime I see him. He is also a total bed hog but he will bite and scratch and basically kill me if I try to move him.
Poppet. The baby of the family and mums favourite. It was either a new puppy or another baby. We all chose puppy.
Echo Jammie-Dodger. Baby. He’s adorable. (It’s a bit like a zoo in my house)
🌻What’s a goal for 2019 you actually accomplished?🌻
Reading wise I completed my goal of reading a classic and reading a respectable amount of ARCs. And I accomplished my goal of graduating secondary school so I liked that.
🌻What’s a book you’re super excited to read in 2020?🌻
Sequels! Specifically the sequels for Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo and Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater.
- What’s a great book you think is underrated?
- What’s the favourite thing you own?
- What’s the weirdest, most random fact you know?
- Your most anticipated movie/tv shows coming out this year?
- Do you have a guilty pleasure read?
So there we go. Again thank you Daria for the nomination, I really enjoyed your questions. Thanks for reading 🙂
