Hi, hey, hello, happy Friday and welcome to my blog!
Today feels like a good day. After staying awake till past 3am last night stressing over my grades I woke up to find I’d only failed 1 class which is miles better then I expected.
So today I’m keeping up with that good mood and talking all about upcoming releases. I’ve done one of these already talking about releases from January to March. So far I’ve read none of those books 😂

Girls Save the World in This One by Ash Parsons
Do I know what this book is about? No. But do I like the look of this cover and the sound of the title.
From what I can gather this book follows three best friends who go to ZombieCon, a convention all about Zombies but things get a little crazy when actual zombies invade and try and eat everyone’s brains.
Publication Date: April 14th
The Dec of Omens by Christine Lynn Herman
This is the sequel to The Devouring Grey which I actually read recently and enjoyed.
Obviously I won’t say much about the plot of this sequel because “Spoilers Sweetie” but this series has a real old school YA paranormal feel to it with its plot of a small town, monster in the woods and four founding families with magical powers.
I’m really looking forward to this series. I have an Endgame OTP and there’s someone I want to see kick some serious ass.
Publication Date: April 21st

Chasing Lucky by Jenn Bennett
Jenn Bennett is definitely an auto-buy author for me by this point. I love her contemporaries so much so even though I know the bare minimum about this I’m excited.
This follows Josie, a budding photographer, who gets in some trouble and local bad boy Lucky takes the fall and of course, with this being a Bennett book, an adorable romance ensues.
Publication Date: May 5th
Dangerous Remedy by Kat Dunn
This book sounds so cool!
I don’t really know how to explain it in my own words so I’ll leave the Goodreads link here, but it’s historical fiction set in during the French Revolution with fantasy elements and, according to Goodreads LGBT representation!
Sign me up, I want this in my life
Publication Date: May 5th
The Henna Wars by Adiba Jaigirdar
Two girls set up competing Henna business and then FALL IN LOVE!!!!
This has been compared to Simon vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda and I am so incredibly excited for this. I’ve seen nothing but great reviews for this so far.
Also that cover is so pretty!!!!
Publication Date: May 12th

The State of Us by Shaun David Hutchinson
I’ve been meaning to read more from Shaun David Hutchinson for a few years now so maybe this newest release will be the one finally I dive into.
This book reminds me a lot of Red, White and Royal Blue, possibly the most popular book of last year. This follows two boys, Dean and Dre, whose parents are both running for President of the United States, but things get complicated when the boys meet, become friends and possibly, maybe fall in love.
Publication Date: June 2nd
Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas
First things first: am I the only one thinking the boys on this cover look like Adam Parrish and Ronan Lynch or is that just me?
Second thing second: a book featuring M/M romance between a transgender brujo who summons the ghost of resident bad boy and they fall in love sounds like something I immediately need in my hands and I can’t wait to read it.
Publication Date: June 9th
The Falling in Love Montage by Ciara Smyth
This cover is so pretty I can’t deal and the inside sounds like it’s going to be just as good, if not better.
So this book follows Saoirse. She doesn’t believe in love or first sight of happy ending, partly because of her mums early on set dementia that she may some day inherit, but when she meets Ruby at a house party she’s considering throwing out all her rules on love.
Publication Date: June 9th
So those are all the upcoming releases that I’m really looking forward to and hoping to read. I mean there’s a chance some of these books are going to be pushed back due to the craziness going on right now but like I said I’m really looking forward to all of these.
I’d love to hear what upcoming releases you cant wait for! Thank you for reading and stay safe.
