Cutest Romances // Top 5 Tuesday

Ugh. It’s one of those days today. One of those days where I could quite happily stay in bed all day, not talking to anyone, not doing anything.

But alas school work calls and my teachers continue to haunt me through emails.

A bright spot in today though is that I’m going to be talking all about the Cutest Romances💕.

Persephone & Hades (Lore Olympus by Rachel Smythe)

This web comic was all over my Goodreads last week and I was intrigued so I started reading and I love this so much. It’s a retelling of the Persephone and Hades where they’re still gods but it has a more modern twist to it.

Not only is the artwork so beautiful that each chapter I’m blown away but the plot is just as good. I’m not even up to these two being official yet but already the cuteness level is high and I can’t wait to read on.

Charlie & Nick (Heartstopper by Alice Oseman

Of course Nick and Charlie are on this list!

Not only are the illustrations of these two characters cute but their entire relationship from the minute they meet is the cutest, from being friends to best friends to awkwardly having a crush on each other to now being officially together!

They really do feel like two akward in love teenagers and I can’t wait for Volume 4.

Adrian & Nova (Renegades by Marissa Meyer)

I was hesitant to include these two on my list just yet because I’m halfway through book 2, Archenimies, and I’m loving this book a lot but I actually haven’t got to them being cannon yet.

I was reading this last night though and one line in particular convinced me that they had to be on this list. That line is Adrian thinking “great skies, she’s beautiful” when Nova is teaching him to shoot.

They’re adorable and I loved them both. I’ve shipped them since the get go and I’m looking forward to reading about the rest of their relationship.

Luke & Vada (More Than Maybe by Erin Hahn)

This book isn’t even out yet but I’ve spoke about it wayyyyy too much already. I’m sorry but I can’t help it. This book is by far one of my favourites of the year so far (if it doesn’t make my top 10 of the year I’ll be very surprised) and part of that is the romance.

There’s music and mutual pining and adorable dates and I was so invested and rooting for them the whole time.

Annabeth & Percy (Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan

I started re-read the Percy Jackson & The Olympians series last month and I forgot how much I love this iconic childhood romance.

They’re so sweet! What else is there for me to say besides that?

I’ve got Titans Curse on my TBR for this month so I’m very excited to continue on re-reading the series and reading more of Seaweed Brain and Wise Girl.

Bonus: Kira & Scott (Teen Wolf)

For the past few months now I’ve been re-watching Teen Wolf, aka my favourite show, and I gotta give a shout out to Kira and Scott.

These two are so underrated! I know Allison and Scott were this big forbidden, first love, romance but Kira and Scott are my personal favourite.

I’m actually planning a whole Teen Wolf related post and I’ve been working on it for a while but I need to finish re-watching the last two seasons and I just can’t with season 5 so it’s taking me a while to get through.

So there we go, five romances that are just too cute and too sweet.

Talking about too sweet; I am going to go and attempt to make chocolate chip cookies. My first attempt from a couple of months ago turned out like cookie pebbles so I’m hoping they’re better this time.
