Which popular YA character am I?

Hi 🙂

I don’t know about you but I have become mildly obsessed with online quizzes recently.

It started during lockdown when very niche and specific quizzes were going around Tumblr and I needed entertainment during my Zoom classes, but now I go on Facebook to catch up on the family drama and end up down the dark hole of Buzzfeed quizzes finding out what my midnight snack says about me.

And so I’ve decided to turn this new found waste of time into content!

Today I am going to be finding out what character I am from 5 popular YA series such as: Twilight, Harry Potter, The Percy Jackson series, The Mortal Instruments and The Hunger Games thanks to online quizzes I’m sure are 100% accurate.

From Twilight I am … Jessica Stanley

Ok. I wasn’t expecting this but I don’t hate it (although I don’t know how much of that is me just really loving Anna Kendrick) 😂

I think Jessica gets quite a bit of hate online but I feel like she’s a pretty accurate representation of your average teenage girl. I mean if my friend got married straight out of high school to the town wierdos I’d be asking questions and gossiping too.

From Harry Potter I am … Neville Longbottom

ME!!!!

Yay I love Neville!!

The character description says: “You’re awkward and clumsy and hate being the centre of attention” and yep, that is the most accurate thing anyone has ever said about me.

And ya know what, if I get half the glow-up that Neville gets I will be thrilled.

From The Hunger Games I am … Peeta Mallark

I was kind of hoping to be Katniss but I’ll take Peeta.

He was a sweetie and I definitely think I’m the most likely to get kidnapped and brainwashed out of my friend group. Also I like bread so we’re basically one in the same.

From Percy Jackson I am … Annabeth Chase

No way am I smart enough to be Annabeth Chase but I appreciate the algorithm thinking that I am. Annabeth is the queen of “badass” and getting her has made me very happy since the only thing we have in common is the fact that we’re both blonde.

From The Mortal Instruments I am … Alec Lightwood

Another Icon™

Alec is by far one of my favourite characters in the later books (I was a bit iffy about him at first). His sass and sarcasm are unparalleled.

I shot a bow and arrow on a school trip one and I had the pink and purple NERF bow so once again we’re basically the same person.

(Also currently laughing because the actress who plays Annabeth in the movies and the actor who plays Alec in the show are siblings and I find that funny for some reason)

And so there we go. I can sleep easily at night now knowing what character I am from 5 of the most popular series. This was fun and there is a 99.9% chance I’ll be doing this again with some other series.
