Blog, Wrap Ups

I have no idea what to expect // April TBR

Hey, hello and welcome back to my blog.

I wasn’t going to make an official TBR for this month but I have a few books I really want to read and I think sharing that list will make me more likely to actually go ahead and read them so here I am. Sharing my plans is a way of making sure I follow through on them.

Chain of Iron by Cassandra Clare – This is my current read and I’m really hoping to have finished it by the time this post goes live. I am really enjoying my time reading this book, I love being back with these characters who I adore. I can’t say I’m loving it as much as the first book but that may be because I loved the creepiness of that plot.

I’m also a lot more anxious going into this sequel. Last year I didn’t really care about the characters or what happened to them but now I’ve come to love each and every one of them so now there’s the added “please make it out alive and happy” factor going on.

The Ones We’re Meant to Find by Joan He – I mentioned yesterday that this is a May release I’m really looking forward to, mainly because I have an ARC and I think the cover is absolutely gorgeous. I don’t actually know much about it besides the fact that it follows sisters, one of whom is/has been stuck on an island. I have no idea what this leads to but I’m excited to find out, especially since I’ve seen such great reviews.

Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo – Last month I finally finished the Grisha Trilogy just in time for the TV show that’s coming out this month (*screams*). I wasn’t planning on re-reading Six of Crows but then I watched the trailer and as soon as Kaz, Jesper and Ineh showed up on screen those plans went right out the window. I need more Crows content.

Take a Hint, Dani Brown by Talia Hibbert – This is a repeat from last months TBR which I’m hoping to actually get to this month. I loved Chloe Brown, I’ve seen nothing but rave reviews for Eve Brown so I really need to read this. I think this will be a good one to help me break up the fantasy books I have on this TBR.

The Play by Elle Kennedy – The reason I didn’t read Dani Brown last month was because I got distracted with the Off Campus series. This is the third book in the companion series and with them being such quick and easy books to read I’m hoping to be able to squeeze this, and maybe even the fourth book, in one weekend. While this companion series isn’t quite as good as the orignal series, it still provides a lot of fun for a couple of hours and I’m sure I’m going to need that at some point this month.

I have no idea how I’m going to get on with this TBR this month because I don’t really know what to expect from this month but these are my main priorities.

I’d love to know what you’re reading this month and your thoughts on any books mentioned above. Thanks for reading :))

Elli xx
