Howdy and hello 🤠
One of my new years resolutions is to buy less books and really focus on reading the books I already own. Some may say I’ve already failed that resolution because I bought a half price copy of Six Crimson Cranes but …. I digress.
Since I’m on a book-buying-ban at the minute, I thought it’d be interesting to take a look back at what books I bought last year, starting Christmas 2020 up until November 2021 and see if I actually got around to reading them!

(I couldn’t get the same shade of purple highlighter for all of them and it really bugs me. Why can’t I copy and paste the paint swatch @ wordpress. WHY!!)
After analysing the date it’s clear that April was the best month in terms of reading the books I hauled, and August was very obviously the worst. I’m gutted that I haven’t read any books from that haul because I was, and still am, really excited about them all.
Hopefully by the end of the year I’ll have a lot more of these knocked off my TBR.
As always I’d love to know your thoughts and feelings on any of these books. If you’ve read any of the books that I haven’t gotten to yet, which ones should I make top priority? Thanks for reading :))
I would definitely recommend reading Last Night at the Telegraph Club and Ace of Spades next. Hope you enjoy all of them, though!

Omg yay it’s not just me that buys books then fails to read them 😂 Little Thieves is books I got last year but haven’t read yet too. I did read and adore All Of Us Villians and House Of Hollow though. Hopefully you’ll manage to catch up a bit this year and find some new favourites too.

buying books is a totally different hobby to actually reading them haha.
I’ve not heard many things about House of Hollow but i’ve got it on my bedside table to start soon so it’s nice to hear good things!
