Authors A-Z: F-G-H-I-J // Top 5 Tuesday

aaaa

Hi, hey, hello and happy Tuesday!

I have drank a whole energy drink in hopes to motivate myself to sort my life out and do my homework and study for the mountain of exams I have coming up in the next three weeks. My body feels really awake …. my eyes do not.

On the plus I am typing really, really fast right now.

Anyways todays Top 5 Tuesday is a continuation of last weeks. Throughout the month of March, as I’m sure you may know, we’re going through the alphabet and talking all about authors.

(You can check out my list for A-E HERE)

Last week I said I was going off an authors first name and that was the plan for the whole month but then that changed today when I realised I would have nobody for more or less half this list.

I’ve only read one book by Francesca Zappia and that was Eliza and Her Monsters which was HUGE when it came out. Everyone was reading it so I did too. Continue reading “Authors A-Z: F-G-H-I-J // Top 5 Tuesday”

A book hangover is worse than a real hangover // Top 5 Tuesday

Hi, hey, hello and happy Tuesday.

I just found out my school trip to Italy next week has been cancelled due to the North of Italy being on lockdown and quarantine due to the Coronavirus. Yay.😂 And here I thought the most I’d have to worry about was rooming with the popular mean girls.

I just find it funny that the one time I try something outside of my comfort zone that yeah I was super nervous about but also really excited for gets cancelled because of the country is under quarantine.

Moving on from that though, let’s talk about this weeks Top 5 Tuesday topic: Books that gave me a book hangover. I’d really like to get drunk enough to have a hangover right now but I’m not 18 and my parents are both out of the country so they can’t buy me any. Woop.

Publication Date: January 21st 2020

Meet Pepper, swim team captain, chronic overachiever, and all-around perfectionist. Her family may be falling apart, but their massive fast-food chain is booming ― mainly thanks to Pepper, who is barely managing to juggle real life while secretly running Big League Burger’s massive Twitter account.

Enter Jack, class clown and constant thorn in Pepper’s side. When he isn’t trying to duck out of his obscenely popular twin’s shadow, he’s busy working in his family’s deli. His relationship with the business that holds his future might be love/hate, but when Big League Burger steals his grandma’s iconic grilled cheese recipe, he’ll do whatever it takes to take them down, one tweet at a time.

All’s fair in love and cheese ― that is, until Pepper and Jack’s spat turns into a viral Twitter war. Read More.

Jenn Bennett // Authors I Want to Read More Of.

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Today I’m going to be talking about an author I want to read more of: Jenn Bennett.

Jenn Bennett is an award winning Young Adult author whose books I’ve come to love this year. Her romances are so cute and I love how she includes different topics for example astronomy and anatomical art. (Is that what it’s called?)

What I’ve Read:

It’s Wednesday my dudes …

So this weeks topic is favourite villains and I’ll admit I had trouble with this one. Partly because as soon as someone asks me my favourite anything I immediately forget everything I was ever interested in.

But I did manage to wrangle up a few to talk about today.

All topics can be found HERE

1- Holland (Shades of Magic)

I read A Darker Shade of Magic recently and I love Holland so much and to be honest I don’t know why. He was evil and yet so lovable ??? I hope he’s featured more in the rest of the books. Continue reading “Favourite Villains // Top 5 Wednesday”
