Today’s Top 5 Tuesday topic is: Books that made me laugh and I have a disclaimer before getting into the list: I have a terrible memory so these may not be as funny as I remember, I also have a terrible sense of humour. I blame my dad for this. We have a running joke about chickens wearing flipflops so … Be Warned.

Again But Better by Christine Riccio

This book wasn’t funny on purpose but it was funny none the less from the name of the love interest: Pilot Penn, to the terrible metaphors you can’t help but laugh at. The fun of the book doesn’t end with the last page either because the reviews for this because are just as entertaining.

The Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan

I’ve not re-read these in a while and it’s something I’ve really been wanting to do recently. My problem however is that I let someone borrow the first book years ago and I never got it back so now I’m 1 book down. I’m genuinely considering just starting from book 2 because these books are so funny even if they are geared at a younger audience they always make me laugh. The Harry Potter Spells Book Tag

Hello and welcome back to my blog 🙂

Today I thought I’d do a book tag, my first of the year.

As you can telly by the title I am doing the Harry Potter Spells tag created by Kimberly Faye Reads.


Back in late November/early December I accomplished the impossible and convinced my mum to read the Harry Potter series. She came to love it so much that  she made me and my brother watch the movie of whichever of the books she’d just finished.

This year I want to complete my reread of the series which I started last year by reading the final 4 books accept after watching all my faves die on screen, I’m not finding myself all that motivated to pick up the books and read about their deaths. I’m hoping this tag will bring out my inner potterhead.
