Howdy fellow booknerds 🙂
I think it’s about time someone sits me down and gives me an intervention because I just can’t help myself. I see E-books for cheap and I gotta buy ’em. I just gotta.
See this is one of the many reasons I don’t trust myself with a proper bank account yet no matter how much my dad tries to make me get one.
In the past … I don’t even know how long, since my last Kindle Haul I suppose, I have acquired 9 new E-Books and I’m going to talk all about those today 🙂
The Last True Poets of The Sea by Julia Drake.
The Last True Poets of The Sea was a simple case of “ooo pretty cover” and “ooo LGBT+ romance” then the next thing I knew I’d bought it and I was regretting my lack of impulse control.
This book follows a girl called Violet. All her life she’s been told her family are very lucky, hence why her great-great grandmother survived a shipwreck and founded the town of Lyric where Violet and her brother Sam return to every summer. When Sam tries to take his own life Violet is shipped back of to Lyric. While she’s there she’s determined to make amends.
Although I’ve barely heard anything about this book prior to buying it, all the reviews I’ve seen are super positive and I’m really looking forward to this.
