Howdy people 🙂
October has come and gone and the Spooky season, is sadly over. The only consolation for all of this is that it means we’re closer to Christmas and I’d be lying if I said I’m not excited for Christmas songs, cheesey Christmas romance movie’s, and all the food that comes along with it.
I had a fun Halloween this year. We went to a pumpkin patch which was a fun first. Also, being here in the US for Haloween was a fun experience. The dining hall went all out and Campus Security were handing out “candy” (still feels wierd calling it that).
My costume this year was the epitome of lazy. We went to a Penn State football game earlier that day so I just wore my Penn State merch and stuck on a backwards basketball cap and called myself an “American Sport Bro”. The scariest thing we did Halloween weekend was … play Monopoly. I’ll leave it at that.
I also read some great books this month! I had a pretty ambitious TBR and I didn’t read everything but I’m not even mad about that. I had great time with these books, for the most time, and that’s what matter.
The first book I finished this month was my re-read of The Kings Men by Nora Sakovic. I’ve talked at length about this series and how this third book is my favourite of the trilogy so I’m not gonna go through that again.
