🎞Everything I’ve Been Watching Recently … #2🎞

Hi, and howdy!

I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve written a blog post. It hasn’t. It’s been like a week, maybe two at the most, I’m just being dramatic.

Right now I’m in the home stretch of school. I’ve got two weeks left and hopefully that’s me done (although realistically I’m probably going to have to do at least one resit the week after but it’s fine). I had a bit of an anxious/depressive episode end of last term and start of this term so the fact that I’m actually feeling motivated to do my school work and study again is a welcome sensation.

Because of this though, it means I haven’t had time to post, and probably won’t for another couple of weeks but I thought I’d wrap up everything I watched while I was basically procrastinating my life, so that when I’m free from the shackles of school I can get started on my “to-be-watched” list!

5 Book’s I Would Re-Write // Top 5 Tuesday

aaaa

Hi, hey, hello and happy Tuesday πŸ™‚

Todays Top 5 Tuesday is all about rewriting books and at first I thought this topic was going to be really hard but I came up with my list in about five minutes. I have a lot of things I want to change.

Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah @ The Bionic Book Worm

Shadow & Bone by Leigh Bardugo

I mentioned in my review of this book that I hated Mal with a vengeance and wanted him to die. Yes I was that dramatic. So if I could re-write this book that’s what I’d do. If I had my way he’d have been eaten during the first few chapters and I wouldn’t regret a single thing. Continue reading “5 Book’s I Would Re-Write // Top 5 Tuesday”

Happy Halloween! // Halloween Book Tag

Hi, hey, hello and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

8585

(I love this gif so much)

I’d like to say I have some super spooky and fun Halloween plans but I really don’t. My night includes trying to get through my stack of homework while not falling asleep and maybe, hopefully finishing my current read.

And so I’m here to do a Halloween Book Tag to at least pretend like I’m getting int the festive spirit.

I saw this done by Robin @ Paperbacks and Planners πŸ™‚ Continue reading “Happy Halloween! // Halloween Book Tag”

Book adaptations I want but I’m scared for.

Hi, hey, hello and happy Tuesday πŸ™‚

So, today is Tuesday and usually that means another week of Top 5 Tuesday however this weeks topic is all about books with creepy atmospheres and … I was struggling. Most of the books that came to mind I’d already mentioned in a recent Spooky Reading Recommendation post and I didn’t just want to repeat myself.

And so today, instead, I’m going to be chatting a little on my thoughts on some Book To Move Adaptations! Some of these are actually in development and some are just my wishful thinking. This post is 100% inspired by the video PolandbananaBOOKS did recently which you can watch here πŸ™‚

Shadow & Bone

So this is the only adaption on this list that I know for sure is 100% happening. As most people know this much beloved book is being adapted by Netflix and I’m excited … but also scared.

I’m excited because I’m in constant need for new television content and what I’ve read of the Grisha universe so far I have loved, especially the characters. However I’m worried about the format of the show. This first season is said to encompass both the Shadow and Bone trilogy aswell as parts of the Six of Crow duology and I just don’t know how that’s going to mesh.

I’ve seen some theories that season 1 is going to focus mainly on Shadow and Bone but also maybe follow the rise of Kaz and Inej before the full Six of Crows plot which in my opinion makes sense, especially with what characters have been announced. August Wrap Up

bg5

Hi, hey hello and welcome to my blog πŸ™‚

August has come and gone, a whole month of heatwaves and me doing abolsutely nothing beneficial with my free time. Literally.

Things I did do this month:

  • Got a tattoo and a lil job all in the span of 2 days making me feel scarily grown up.
  • Survived my cousins week long stay at my house.
  • Celebrated 1 whole year of AceReader

Things I did not do this month:

  • Take advantage of my last free month off school and actually READ.

Mid Year Book Freak-Out Tag!

Hello and welcome to my blog!

So far this year my reading is going really well. I’ve somehow managed to read 47 books this year while also keeping up with school work. I’m very proud of this.

Absolutely everybody has been doing the Mid Year Book Freak Out Tag recently and of course I’m jumping on that bandwagon too. This tag looks really fun and I’m excited to look back at what I’ve read.

🌟Best Book You’ve Read So Far In 2019🌟

untitled

I genuinely did try to pick something different for this question but this really has been the best book I’ve read so far this year. It was funny yet also emotional with a nice amount of political commentary that I enjoyed. I’ve had to stop myself from re-reading this multiple times. It definitely deserves the hype. My Review.Β

🌟Best Sequel You’ve Read So Far in 2019 🌟

untitled

To be honest I’ve barely read any sequels this year. I really need to get on that. But definitely out of the few that I’ve read my favourite was Crooked Kingdom. I’m annoyed it took me so long to read this series and I’m dying for new content from these characters. My Review Continue reading “Mid Year Book Freak-Out Tag!”

I Got Stuck In England Book Haul :)

Hello and Happy Friday πŸ™‚

So, this time last week I was freezing my arse off in my home country of England. I was meant to be there for four days but after a two hour drive to the airport it turned out my flight had been cancelled!

Although stressful, and cold I did end up having a good time and most importantly I got books! I always get a Christmas in the middle of February/March because that’s when my dad sends my gift and this year I got a few books out of it!
