I have no Jenn Bennett books left to read.

Last night at 2am I accomplished something amazing: I finished my last Jenn Bennett book. I have officially read all of her released YA contemporary novels!

Ok maybe this isn’t the most impressive thing in the world considering that’s actually only 4 books but I’m going to be dedicating a whole post to talking about it anyways because I can.

Starry Eyes

35297469Starry Eyes was the first Bennett book I ever read. This was free on Riveted one month and I started reading it because I had nothing better to do and thank God because not only has it introduced me to a favourite instant-buy author, but it opened me up to reading more romance heavy contemporaries in general.

This book follows Zorie who goes camping with friends and is surprised to find Lennon, the ex-best friend she’s been avoiding for months, there too.

Shit gets serious when they’re friends ditch them and Zorie and Lennon are left to hike home and camp alone. Continue reading “I have no Jenn Bennett books left to read.”

Hi, hey, hello and happy Tuesday.

It’s the final round of Top 5 Tuesday 2019! I can’t believe it!. I started with Top 5 Tuesday this past summer and I’ve absolutely loved participating in all the weekly topics. I think I’ve only missed one which I’m really happy about. I can’t wait to see what topics are to come in 2020.

This weeks topic is Top 5 Surprising reads and I have to study so let’s just jump into it.

Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah @ The Bionic Book Worm

UK vs US Book Covers

Hi, hey, hello and welcome to my blog.

Today I am pitting two nations against each other. Over the past few years England and America have gone head to head to see who can fuck up their countries and their governments the most and so I thought I’d also make them go head to head and see who has the better book covers of some of my favourite books.

Call Down the Hawk by Maggie Stiefvater

K. So I technically haven’t read this yet but I have a strong feeling I’m going to love this because of course I’m going to love a whole book of Ronan Lynch and also, I just really wanted a good excuse to talk about this UK cover (left). Continue reading “UK vs US Book Covers”

Instant Buy Authors

Hello and welcome to my blog 🙂

Today I’m going to be talking about a few of my Instant Buy Authors. I will be leaving out the more obvious ones like Rick Riordan and Cassandra Clare. I sold my soul to these two authors years ago and it doesn’t need to be mentioned again.

But joining the ranks of “people who own my soul” are:

1- Karen M. McManus

Jenn Bennett // Authors I Want to Read More Of.

Hello and welcome to my blog.

Today I’m going to be talking about an author I want to read more of: Jenn Bennett.

Jenn Bennett is an award winning Young Adult author whose books I’ve come to love this year. Her romances are so cute and I love how she includes different topics for example astronomy and anatomical art. (Is that what it’s called?)

What I’ve Read:

February Wrap Up

Time is fleeting, the end of term is fast approaching and I am panicking 😀

Happy not February! Honestly it’s a miracle I didn’t die this past month. I ate 2 month out of date food, went alone to meet distant relatives when I didn’t even know what they looked like and flew to England all by myself.

I also watched and completed The Umbrella Academy, and I’m still recovering. In-between all of that though I managed to read a whole lot.

I completed 8 books and DNF-ed 1. I also did really well at following my TBR! Continue reading “February Wrap Up”

Fictional Couples I hope had a good valentines day💕

Hello and happy Friday.

So first thing … this has to be the nerdiest title ever but it’s late, I’m sleep deprived and I don’t care 😉

Also yes Valentines day was like a week ago but February is the month of loveeeee, so I’m gonna milk it for all I can.

1- Zorie and Lennon (Starry Eyes by Jenn Bennet)

35297469I read this recently and absolutely LOVED it! It was the cutest thing ever and I’m rooting for them. They deserve to go camping together and watch the stars.

2- Jeremy and Jean (All For the Game by Nora Sakavic)

images6IJJ744D.jpgI need more Jerejean content in my life. Or at least some soft Valentines day fics. These two are total minor characters in the series but I love them with all my being. Continue reading “Fictional Couples I hope had a good valentines day💕”
