Perfect on Paper by Sophie Gonzales
Sophie Gonzales cemented herself as a must read author for me with this book. I loved her 2021 co-authored book, If This Get’s Out, and I loved this maybe even more. Her writing style was so addictive.
This book follows Darcy who considers herself an expert when it comes to handing out love advice, hence why she started up an anonymous love advice buinsess at her highschool. When Broughman finds out about this he leverages this secrete against her until she agress to help him win back his ex.
On the surface it may seem like any other high-school set story but it went deep and even touched on bisexual erasure among other things. It also had a super cute romance that was entertaining to read the entire time.
