☀ Summer Vibes Book Tag! ☀

Hi :))

Today I’m going to be doing the Summer Vibes Book Tag. This was originally created by Deanna @ The Comfy Reader and I was tagged to do this by LaRonda @ Flying Paperbacks. Thank you so much LaRonda!!source

It’s actually kind of perfect me doing this tag because today I’m going to the beach for the third day in a row. I’ve lived in Spain near on 8 years now and I have never been to the beach this much in one summer, let alone one week even though it’s a 10 minute walk from my house.

I’m not a huge fan of the beach (the sand, the sweat, the wearing a bikini) but the past couple of days have been super fun … even if I did get sunburnt on my upper thigh to the point where I can’t sleep😂black-and-white-flowers-tumblr-transparent-12☀The Beach: A Book Set Somewhere Tropical☀

I feel bad because I’m totally copying LaRonda here. I just don’t read books in tropical settings so I’m going to have to go with Summer Bird Blue by Akemi Dawn Bowman as this book is set in Hawaii.

Maybe I could also go with The Bane Chronicles by Cassandra Clare & Friends since one of the novellas in that bind up is set in Peru(?) but that might be pushing it.

Did I complete my summer TBR??

Hi and hello and welcome to my blog 🙂

So today was my second day of school, I’ve come home with homework, a headache and that oh so familiar feeling of dread with my brain saying “u stoopid” so I can officially say that the summer holidays are over.

I can also officially say that college sucks and I want to go back to nursery and live out my finger painting dreams. Can someone make that happen please?

Basically in my last week of school back in June I made myself a TBR to read during my three months off and we’re gonna take a look to see if I actually stuck to that. I genuinely don’t remember so I gotta admit I’m nervous to see how bad I’ve failed.

☀Top 5 Books I Read this Summer☀

Hi, hey, hello and welcome to my blog 🙂

Guess who just got back from the dentist and was stupid enough to not eat beforehand and so is now starving!!!! ME :))) Yep.

And so to distract myself from my hunger I thought I’d talk about My Favourite Books I Read This Summer!

Summer has never before been my favourite season, for the most part because I’m as pale as a vampire (to the point where my old citizenship teacher asked if I was a ghost) so the burning hot ball in the sky and I don’t get on all that much.

However I’ve actually had a great time this past summer and in the past three months, June, July and August, I’ve read some really great books.

1- Not Even Bones by Rebecca Schaeffer

I was still in school when I read this and the boy who sits next to me, the only other English boy who could possibly understand what I was reading, kept looking over at the worst time. Usually when limbs were being dismembered. He was very worried about me. Continue reading “☀Top 5 Books I Read this Summer☀”

The Perfect Summer Reads🍦

Hello and welcome to my blog!SUMMER.gif

I’m currently 1 week into the summer holidays and I’ve got to say that I’m having a blast. My life no longer revolves around late night studying, early morning wake ups and me drowning in exams. No, instead I can stay up all night reading or playing sims and eating my weight in ice-cream.

It’s amazing.

And so I figured I’d use my current summery mood to scour my shelfs and find some books that I think are perfect to read this summer 🙂

1- Aristotle and Dante by Benjamin Alire Saenz
