Short month, big TBR // February TBR

Hi, hey, hello and welcome to myblog 🙂

I’ve had the same on and off headache for nearly four days now and I’ve watched too many medical dramas meaning now I’m thinking my heads going to explode or something. Fun.

Besides that though I’m going to be talking about what books I want to read this month.

I can’t decide how my reading is going to go this month. I have exams coming up and I need to keep my grades up but I also have a week off towards the end of the month and the house to myself as my mum and brother are going to England so maybe I’ll be able to read a bunch.

Wrap Ups

January Wrap Up.

bg5

It’s been a month and it’s been a good ‘un!

Hello and happy Not January! We’re 1/12 of the way through the year already and I’ve already read 20% of my reading goal! My goal for this year was 60 books and in this past month I’ve read 12!

I was not expecting that but I’m very happy with myself and how this year has started off.

The first two books I completed this month were Lord of Shadows and also Queen of Air and Darkness by Cassandra Claire. So yep, my year started off full of pain and heartbreak but god did I have a good time reading these and completing the trilogy. I absolutely flew through them. I did a whole review on The Dark Artifices trilogy and then I did a really long post with all my thoughts and feeling on Queen of Air and Darkness.

Mini Reviews: Fence // The Deceivers // Marriage of Unconvenience

Hello! Today I’m trying something a bit different. Basically I have three recently read books I want to talk about but don’t have enough thoughts for a whole review. So I’m combining them all here with mini reviews for each.

The Top of my Netgalley TBR

Hello people and welcome back to my blog 🙂

Today I am naming and shaming … myself.

Netgalley is a holy sight of amazingness allowing book lovers and reviewers early access to upcoming releases and I use it often. I’ve been using the site for about two years now. At the start I was doing really well at keeping up with what I requested but then a book slump hit and I kept requesting things and not reading leading to a whole lot of ARCs on my TBR left to read.

I figured today I’d share the books that are my top priority to read. These are the books with the most recent release dates unlike some others which have been on standby for over a year now.

I feel like if I read the newer releases it will motivate me to read the more backlist novels too.
