In Nova City, there are people capable of feats that defy the imagination. They’re called Extraordinaries.

There is Shadow Star: a protector who can manipulate darkness in his quest to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

His arch-nemesis is Pyro Storm: an Extraordinary capable of controlling fire who is bent on bringing Nova City to its knees.

And then there’s sixteen-year-old Nicholas Bell: who isn’t Extraordinary in the slightest.Read More.

LGBTQ books I am definitely reading this month // June TBR

Hellooo πŸ™‚ I’m tired today. I hosted an impromptu “party” last night and you’d think a couple of seventeen and eighteen year olds being left home alone with alcohol would have a rager but instead we stayed up till 2am playing Monopoly, hence the being tired todayπŸ˜‚

Anyways today I’m going to be talking about all the books I’m planning on reading in June. I read 10 books last month and I’m planning to keep that momentum going. June is pride month and so just like last year I really want to read a whole lot of books with LGBT+ characters and plots.

Books that sound like cool band names

Hellooo πŸ™‚ It’s Monday and as if that’s not bad enough my allergies have got me beat. Anyone would think I’ve been wondering around a flower shop with how much I’m sneezing and how bad my eyes are watering right now.

Anyways today’s post is quick and fun because I really mean it when I say my eyes are watering like crazy. I am going to be talking about book titles that sound like cool band names!

This was actually a Top 10 Tuesday topic from a couple of weeks ago. I don’t participate in Top 10 Tuesday so I’ll leave a link HERE for this list of topics, but this looked like a lot of fun so I decided to do my own list.

There’s obviously so many cool sounding book titles out there so I narrowed my selection down to books I own either physically or on my Kindle.

  • These Witches Don’t Burn (I’m thinking badass girl group)
  • The Black Veins
  • The Extraordinaries

Series I Want to Start // Top 5 Tuesday

aaaa

Hello and happy Tuesday πŸ™‚

I’m stressed right now and it’s all my tutor/lengua teachers fault. Its not the homework or worring about grades it the fact that the dude keeps posting updates on our Classroom IN ALL CAPS!!!! Literally a paragraph screaming at us about something so mundane.I feel like commenting “calm down my dude” expect I would never do that because I’m socially inept and have spoken like … 3 words to the guy in 2 years of having him as a teacher.Β

Anyways. Now that I’ve got that mini rant out of my system I’m going to talk about something calming: books!

Todays Top 5 Tuesday topic is all about Series I Want to Start and I’ve got to admit I found this pretty hard. I’m trying not to start too many series because there’s so many others I actually need to finish.

Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah @ The Bionic Book Worm
