My Christmas Book Haul 2019

Hi, hey, hello and welcome to my blog 🙂

I hope everyone had a great Christmas if you celebrate it and if you don’t then I hope you had a great random Tuesday.

My Christmas this year was a bit different to normal. It was the first year in which my brother didn’t play along with the whole “Father Christmas” thing meaning my mum was slightly emotional and so I suggested we go out and get drunk on Christmas Eve and we had a great time … until we didn’t get home till 2:30 am. My dad was still drunk when we woke up at 9 and lets just say we’re never going drinking on Christmas Eve again.

Overall though I had a great day and got 9 books I’m very excited to talk about so let’s just jump in.

Its that time people. It’s Christmas book tag time!!!!

I have a weird relationship with Christmas. I loved it as a kid, as most small children do, thenstarted hating on Christmas as I got older just because my dad did and it was fun to mess with mum.

Also Christmas when you get older is stressfull! Leading up to the 25th is, for me, jam packed with exams, and then there’s the whole buying gifts situation and all that. It’s hectic and it’s why my family get drunk on Christmas day which leads to food fights between me and dad.

This year though I’m adiment to get more intouch with the Christmas cheer. I’ve got a list of Christmas movies I want to watch, I’ve been singing Christmas songs and also I’ve decided I’m going to do a Christmas/Holiday themed book tag each week leading up to the Fat Man coming down the metaphorical chimney.

And so today I’m going to be starting of with the Joy of Christmas Book Tag.
