Which popular YA character am I?

Hi 🙂

I don’t know about you but I have become mildly obsessed with online quizzes recently.

It started during lockdown when very niche and specific quizzes were going around Tumblr and I needed entertainment during my Zoom classes, but now I go on Facebook to catch up on the family drama and end up down the dark hole of Buzzfeed quizzes finding out what my midnight snack says about me.

And so I’ve decided to turn this new found waste of time into content!

Today I am going to be finding out what character I am from 5 popular YA series such as: Twilight, Harry Potter, The Percy Jackson series, The Mortal Instruments and The Hunger Games thanks to online quizzes I’m sure are 100% accurate.

Ok. I wasn’t expecting this but I don’t hate it (although I don’t know how much of that is me just really loving Anna Kendrick) 😂

I think Jessica gets quite a bit of hate online but I feel like she’s a pretty accurate representation of your average teenage girl. I mean if my friend got married straight out of high school to the town wierdos I’d be asking questions and gossiping too.

I’m trash so I re-read Tales From the Shadowhunter Academy☺

Hi 🙂 A couple of months ago I read Chain of Gold which re-ignited my obsession with all things Shadowhunters. Because I do not have the time, or the patience to re-read the entire series I settled on re-reading the novella bind ups.

I started with the Ghosts of the Shadow Market because my love for Jem Carstairs trumps everything and then earlier this month I re-read Tales From The Shadowhunter Academy and I’m here to talk about that today.

This novella bind up follows Simon Lewis after the events of the Mortal Instruments series as he attends the newly re-opened Shadowhunter Academy.

The High School Musical Book Tag (aka me living my best life)

Hi, hey, hello and welcome to my blog.

I am doing something super exciting today: The High School Musical Book Tag.

High School Musical was my entire Childhood! I had a HSM lunch box, a Gabriella doll, all the DVDs and CDs (including the concert version) which I played on a loop, my primary school had a High School Musical singing club and we performed “Breaking Free” during an assembly and I went to cinema to watch the third movie.

I watched these movies so much that even my parents know all the words. 

And so believe me when I say I jumped up and down in my chair with excitement (which I’m only slightly ashamed of) when I found out this was a book tag that existed.

I tried finding the original creator to this tag but I think that post has since been deleted because I can’t find it. Either way I’m super excited though to re-live my childhood today and combine it with books!

The Start of Something New: A new favourite genre/author/series

A new favourite author of mine is definitely Erin Hahn. I fell in love with her debut novel You’d Be Mine last year and my love for her multiplied when I read her sophomore novel More Than Maybe a month or two back. She writes such entertaining books filled with humour and music. I can’t wait for it’s official release and to read more from her.

Back to school book tag – can someone send me back to nursery please.

Hello and happy Thursday and welcome to my blog 🙂

Today I come to you with the Back to School Book Tag because as I’ve mentioned in literally every one of this weeks posts I am back at school!

This week has been my first week of college and it’s had its highs and it’s lows featuring numerous stress headaches just two days in but, as I sit here writing this, today went quite well. We’re officially getting into classes and I’ve been socialising more with friends which feels nice. That’s an incredibly sad thing to say but I’m usually the girl sat at the back all by myself because I get too anxious and nervous, so actually joking around with people has been fun.

This is my schedule for the year so not too bad although I am forever pissed that I have P.E first hour on a bloody Friday. Exercise at 8:30 in the morning! I genuinely can’t think of anything worse.

For this first question I’ve chosen Laura Steven. I’ve only read the The Exact Opposite of Okay duology from her so far but I absolutely loved the writing style. It was hilarious, witty and so easy to read.

Another week and another round of Top 5 Tuesday.

Ok so today was my first day back at school, my first day of college and I was there for literally four hours but I am exhausted!!!

So apologies for any and all incoherent-ness, I’m sure I’m going to regret adding the word “lolz” to the title of this post but I’m looking forward to todays topic of: Funniest characters.

I actually did research for todays topic and by “research” I mean I watched a few multi-random crack videos on YouTube and then proceeded to use none of the characters from those videos.

A dream girl with goat legs and hooves who speaks Latin. Again, so random and weird and yet I cannot wait for more of her in the dreamer trilogy (which is out in less than 7 months!!)
