🍂Top 3 Books I read this Autumn🍂

Hello and welcome to my blog!

I pulled a 10pm till 2am shift last night and let me tell you those are the weirdest hours I’ve ever worked and it’s left me feeling all disorientated with time and space. Although I should be studying for my final round of exams I just can’t get in the concentration studying mood and so I thought I’d talk about My favourite Autumn reads before jumping into Spanish literature.

I’ve done a couple of these seasonal wrap ups at this point and normally I do a list of my top 5 but sadly there’s just not five books that are all on the same level of greatness. I am happy with the three books I’ve chosen to talk about though.

❄The Joy of Christmas // Book Tag❄

Hi, hey and welcome to my blog 🙂

Its that time people. It’s Christmas book tag time!!!!

denial1

I have a weird relationship with Christmas. I loved it as a kid, as most small children do, thenstarted hating on Christmas as I got older just because my dad did and it was fun to mess with mum.

Also Christmas when you get older is stressfull! Leading up to the 25th is, for me, jam packed with exams, and then there’s the whole buying gifts situation and all that. It’s hectic and it’s why my family get drunk on Christmas day which leads to food fights between me and dad.

This year though I’m adiment to get more intouch with the Christmas cheer. I’ve got a list of Christmas movies I want to watch, I’ve been singing Christmas songs and also I’ve decided I’m going to do a Christmas/Holiday themed book tag each week leading up to the Fat Man coming down the metaphorical chimney.

And so today I’m going to be starting of with the Joy of Christmas Book Tag. Continue reading “❄The Joy of Christmas // Book Tag❄”

It’s the final round of Top 5 Tuesday 2019! I can’t believe it!. I started with Top 5 Tuesday this past summer and I’ve absolutely loved participating in all the weekly topics. I think I’ve only missed one which I’m really happy about. I can’t wait to see what topics are to come in 2020.

This weeks topic is Top 5 Surprising reads and I have to study so let’s just jump into it.

Top 5 Tuesday is hosted by Shanah @ The Bionic Book Worm

October Wrap Up!

Hi, hey, hello and welcome to my blog!

It’s November. We’re officially in the last two months of the 2010’s. I am feeling very old right now so we’re going to move on quickly before I go full existential crisis mode and we’re going to talk about the books I read this October!

I actually made myself a TBR for October, something I don’t often do because I literally never commit but I did quite well this month. I read four books off that TBR as well as starting a 5th and then I added in a random graphic novel for fun as well.

Hi, hey, hello and HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

(I love this gif so much)

I’d like to say I have some super spooky and fun Halloween plans but I really don’t. My night includes trying to get through my stack of homework while not falling asleep and maybe, hopefully finishing my current read.

And so I’m here to do a Halloween Book Tag to at least pretend like I’m getting int the festive spirit.

I saw this done by Robin @ Paperbacks and Planners 🙂 Continue reading “Happy Halloween! // Halloween Book Tag”

Welcome to the cursed town of Sparrow…

Where, two centuries ago, three sisters were sentenced to death for witchery. Stones were tied to their ankles and they were drowned in the deep waters surrounding the town.

Now, for a brief time each summer, the sisters return, stealing the bodies of three weak-hearted girls so that they may seek their revenge, luring boys into the harbor and pulling them under. Read More.

🎃Spooky Season TBR 🎃

Hi, hey, hello and I know I said it yesterday but HAPPY SPOOKY SEASON!!!!

sourceI love all things Halloween so much so infact that I’ve got a whole TBR for this great month of October something I don’t do very often because I never stick to my TBRs and I always end feeling guilt.

However I’m feeling pretty confident in myself right now … even though I’m in a minor reading slump. I need October to be a productive month, and I need to go into the rest of this year with the mind set of “I can do this” so I’m hoping completing a TBR will help me boost myself up.

Anyways, lets just jump in to my pretty ambitious (for me) TBR:
