Worst Books of 2018

Facebook Cover #1

Hello! Buckle up people because today I am being a negative Nancy and talking about the worst books I read in 2018.

So I have five books for this list which to be honest isn’t that bad considering I read over 90 books this year. Reading bad books isn’t a bad thing, it makes you appreciate those truly amazing books more. Also I have a decent amount of pent up rage to let out on ranting about bad books. Here we go:

Away We Go by Emil Ostrovski

The last time I DNF-ed a book was over a year ago now and that was¬† The Girl Who Wasn’t Dead by Samantha Boyette. I rarely DNF because most the time it’s a book I bought myself and book definitely aren’t cheap. I also like to see how much worse it can possibly get so I can successfully rant about it.

Which book is your guilty pleasure?

Definitely The Ghost Files by Apryl Baker. This series follows a girl who can see ghosts and I admit it’s super cheesy and cringey at times but there’s something about it that’s so addictive and keeps me reading.

Which book would you throw into the sea?

Paper Towns by John Green. I don’t get the point of this book. This was one of the first books where I was reading and was not having a good time. There are plenty of others I would throw into the sea but this one more so because of how hyped it is and I really don’t understand. Continue reading “Book Blogger Confessions Tag”
